The Boston Globe is reporting that Barry Flynn, who spent several years working in Maine in various campaign posts, has been arrested. According to the Globe, Mr. Flynn is accused of punching his girlfriend and breaking one of her ribs in a confrontation after the New Hampshire primary.
In 2004, He worked for the Maine Republican Party doing press and also worked for the House Republican Caucus during the 2006 election cycle. His most recent activities in Maine included coordinating efforts for the McCain campaign in preparation for the primary held in early Feburary.
The moral of the story? The Republican Party has some soul searching to do. >
