Benjamin Goodman is barely old enough to vote, and is determined to get to the Democratic National Convention.
Goodman, a senior at Kennebunk High School, submitted signatures to run as a national delegate for Barack Obama. He has set up a Web site and made a video, embedded below.
He has followed Obama’s campaign since it took off, and served as the Maine High School Director of Students for Barack Obama, mobilizing high school students who are eligible to vote.
National delegates will be elected at this weekend’s state convention.

For the Dems you have to submit signatures? What a closed, undemocratic system. For Republicans all you have to do is fill out a form and get nominated and seconded from the floor.
Hey Ron Paul supporters, if you didn't like the Republican state convention, be glad you're not a Democrat. They probably wouldn't have even let you get nominated.
