Strang-Burgess: Palin puts government on the side of people

State Rep. Meredith Strang Burgess (R-Cumberland) released the following statement on Gov. Sarah Palin’s speech. Burgess is the Maine co-chair for Women for John McCain.

Her statement: "Sarah Palin's speech demonstrated clearly why John McCain chose her as his running mate. Like McCain, Governor Palin has a record of standing up to the entrenched special interests to put government back on the side of people. That's precisely what she's done in her time as a governor and a mayor. With a committed reformer like Sarah Palin at his side, John McCain will deliver the change Washington needs."
