Allen Campaign

This race should be a lot closer than this. It's probably time to shake up the Allen campaign staff. Not only is their message not reasonating with voters, they are falling behind in the polls from 8% to 19% down. With the addition of Palin to the GOP ticket, it is going to be even harder to catch up.

Tom Allen senate race

Hey tom, You need to be more aggressive in you political ads. Look toward NH and copy what Jean Shaheen is doing against John Sununu. Maine Sen Susan Collins has to be linked to Bush Adm/White House over and over and over and over. She voted for the Iraq war so that alone should make this senate race much closer...Come on Tom, let get moving. Do not fall under the bus like Tom Andrews did years ago...

Bye Bye Tommy!

The previous comments are hilarious! It's time to shake up Allen's staff.... Duh - ya think? Or that Tommy should be more aggressive in his ads. Pleeeze behave - isn't negative ads what Tommie came out against? Duh!

The problems the Kool aid drinking crowd can't see, is yes Allen's staff is incompetent and has been from the beginning. Remember the fake press conferences with his Chief of staff's wife and former campaign staff? Allen should have fired all of them just for that. That's what you get when you hire a meat cutter for chief of staff and the otherwise unemployable children of your campaign contributors.

Now you want tommie to ramp it up in the last few weeks? It can't be done because Tommie has done NOTHING for the last (12) TWELVE YEARS!!!! He has no rabbits up his sleeve because he and his staff have been inept and lazy from the beginning.

Tommie and his flunkies should start brushing up their resumes like NOW - It's over! On second thought his staff should have mommie and daddy donate more money to Obama because they are not qualified for Burger King!

Except that it wasn't a fake - the two former staffers were clearly identified as the raw footage shows - the TV stations that ran the story omitted these facts, not the Allen campaign.

Yes, that was unfortunate.

Just think, this never would have been a problem had Allen found real people and not cronies.

But that's the pattern of this campaign and it fully explains why Collins is trouncing Allen by 19%.
