Mitchell vouches for Allen in new ad
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterA new ad for Senate candidate and U.S. Rep. Tom Allen (D-Portland) features former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell.
“I’ve known Tom Allen for 40 years…,” Mitchell says in the ad. “Tom Allen has demonstrated the kind of leadership the people of Maine and America need.”
Allen hopes to unseat U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Bangor).
