Last day to switch voter registration

Today is the last day for registered greens or Republicans to switch their voter registration if they want to participate in the Democratic caucus.

The deadline to switch to a Republican registration has passed.

One can switch their registration by visiting their town office. The caucus is Feb. 10.

This is incorrect.

This is incorrect. Unenrolled voters, or "Independents," and folks not registered to vote can enroll in the Democratic Party on the day of the caucus. However, today is the deadline for Greens and Republicans to switch their party enrollment in order to participate in the Maine Democratic Caucuses on Feb. 10.

I was just going to say the same thing.....

Unenrolled voters can choose to enroll up to, and including the day of, the caucuses. If you are registered as something else and want to caucus for the Democrats, though, you must change that enrollment by today.
