Augusta, Maine -- Maine Republican Party Chairman Mark Ellis made the following statement about the Obama campaign's attacks on Senator John McCain.
"I was disappointed with the Obama campaign's attacks on Sen. John McCain's military service. Wesley Clark's remarks over the weekend are a disservice to the people of Maine and all Americans.
It doesn't surprise me that Barack Obama came out the very next day in Independence, MO to talk about his own patriotism and to distance himself from Wesley Clark's criticism of John McCain.
This comes right on the heals of Obama breaking his long-standing pledge to limit campaign spending.
You know, Barack Obama has talked a great deal about "Change" and for the first time, we're beginning to understand what "change" means to him -- it's taking a position on an issue and then turning around the very next day to take a different position on the same issue.
Obama may call this change, but I call it flip-flopping."
