A new radio advertisement released by the Republican National Committee and approved by John McCain, attacks presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama for his recent visits to Berlin and Paris. The ad focuses on Obama’s record regarding troop funding, and have been running in the three U.S. cities named Paris in Maine, Michigan and Missouri. As the AP has reported, to commemorate Obama's visit to Berlin, Germany, the RNC is also running an ad in all three U.S. cities named Berlin in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and New Hampshire.
The ad attacks the senator form Illinois for voting against a second attempt to fund the Iraq war with $120 billion. The ad says he chose "Washington politics" over supporting the troops.
“If Obama can’t rise above politics to support our soldiers in a time of war, then how can he claim to have the strength to change the way Washington works?” the ad asks. “John McCain is ready to lead. Barack Obama is not.”

Too funny
That's about as good as McCain's visiting a German restaurant in Ohio today to counter, in kindergarten fashion, Obama's soon-to-be historic speech in Berlin.

That's nothing.
Obama's campaign is going to counter in Maine by advertising in towns suggested by McCain's GRAY completion displayed on the GREENE jello looking background and the fact that he is always incredibility MOODY, but first they will hit OLD Town.
McCain Ad
Okay. On the other side of the coin, McCain wasn't even in town (the town of Washington, DC) to vote on the expanded GI Bill that passed recently. Had he been in town, he'd have voted against it. He claimed better educational opportunities would be a "dis-incentive" to non-commissioned officers to stay in the military. Now, why would our valiant CAPTAIN McCain think that?
"Heck, that'd make them NCOs too smart for their own good!" shouted the pugnacious Mr. McCain, who has many sword-swallowing rear admirals in his family tree. "We got to keep 'em stupid!"
What did Obama say? According to CNN, "I revere our soldiers and want to make sure they are being treated with honor and respect. I think the GI Bill is one way for us to do that, and I hope that John McCain and George Bush decide they believe the same thing."
They didn't, as we now know.
