Clinton picks up a superdelegate

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton added one more superdelegate to her tally last night when one of her supporters won a special election to fill a vacant California congressional seat. Democrat Jackie Speier, a former State Senator, won 77 percent of the vote in her bid to replace Tom Lantos, who died of cancer in February. READ THE STORY ON POLITICKERCA.COM.

She is a Clinton supporter, but is withholding which way she would vote, saying she "would decide whom to vote for after the primary, leaving open the possibility that she'd go for Obama."

That is clearly not a superdelegate pickup. DemconWatch does a pretty good job tracking this stuff.
