Staying away from her Republican convention won't make Mainers forget that Susan Collins has strongly supported the Bush administration. She talks like a maverick, but votes like a solid elephant. That voting record sends a much stronger message than her decision to skip the trip to St. Paul. Maine needs Tom Allen in the U.S. Senate!
