Cianchette nomination moves to full Senate

Peter Cianchette, National Committeeman for the Maine Republican Party and former candidate for governor, has moved one step closer to becoming the U.S. ambassador to Costa Rica. The Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee approved the nomination on Tuesday afternoon. The Nomination will now head to the full Senate for a vote, as early as this week.
