WINNER: Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Wells Water District users whose protests encouraged the trustees to "indefinitely table" a proposal by Poland Spring to extract lots of water from the local aquifer for little reward.
LOSER - Chellie Pingree for
LOSER - Chellie Pingree for publicly supporting taking away a worker's right to a private ballot when forming a union.

Pingree supports the Employee "Free Choice" Act that will allow a union boss to come in and start a union by having workers publicly sign a card stating if they want a union. It goes against our tradition of private ballots in our democracy. It is scary to think what else Tom Allen, Chellie Pingree and Michael Michaud have in store for the people of Maine.
